Healthcare Innovation

Healthcare Innovation

Healthcare innovation is essential to meet the growing demands on healthcare systems and improve outcomes within limited resources.

NIHE supports clients in the development, evaluation, and implementation of healthcare innovations. We apply health economic methods throughout the innovation process to support:

Go/no-go decisions

Evidence generation, study design and data collection

Value-based pricing and assessment of value for money

Other types of health economic analyses

By introducing health economics early in the development process, we can help innovators identify the evidence needed for future adoption, provide economic arguments to support further investments and implementation – and assess whether an innovation has the potential to create sufficient value before substantial resources are committed.

Clients and collaborators

NIHE has provided innovation support to public organisations, healthcare providers, start-ups, and established companies, including Amgros I/S, Cacta, eLi-12, Equilibrium, Danish Regions, InHear, IntraCair, MultiBiopsy.
